Yes, you guessed right....we need your calendars!

 

please hand in your calendars so we can best accommodate you

for November

 

 

 

What happens on an In-Service day?

 

 

• We will provide a lunch
• ALWAYS wear colour clothes, comfy is best
• EXPECT to go outside, so appropriate outdoor clothing is necessary so we can provide an outside option (unless of course it is too cold or wet)
• provide your own snacks for before and/or after lunch
• 5 days notice is NEEDED for cancelations (yes, a charge will happen if this is not followed)
• We will hold a cancelation list in case of an opening, this is for when we have the program at a maximum number (30 students)
• A.M we try to have craft time, gym and/or computer time
• P.M we try for outdoor time and/ or gym time (weather permitting) and an organized games of some sort
• Most of all: we try to have LOTS of fun!!!!!

October Calendars are now due, get one online, at Circle of Friends Room or in a pinch, send an email

*remember Monday is October 1st!!!

           October 5th is our first in-service day and then quickly after                   October 19th......sign up early as we take first come first serve and it can book up quickly (cause we have so much fun...just sayin)

Really Easy

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

 

375 degrees

cook time 10 min

( for mini muffins)

20 min

(for regular size)

350 degrees

cook time 55-58 min

( for banana bread)

 



 

Early dismissal was a fun afternoon with some mini ch.chip muffins, (thanks baking helpers)

 

gym time, BINGO, and Megamind movie

 

Here is the muffin recipe:

 

 

• 1 & 1/2 cup flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup butter
• 3 large or 4 small ripen bananas

 Mix all dry ingredients, set aside, mix wet ingredients. Combine dry ingredients with wet and mix. Fold in chocolate chips at the end and scoop into pans 3/4 full (I didn't spray the pans). Bake accordingly and Enjoy!

As much as we all love summer, we still have June to get through, soooo.........

 this is an early dismissal day

we may be outside, so its encouraged to have hats and sunscreen

hopefully some sort of a baking adventure, for those who are interested

 (recipes will be posted)

lunch will not be provided by Circle of Friends

so lunch kits will still need to be packed for that day

 

Friday June 8, 2018

 Fun in the Sun

 

 

For sure outdoors

slurpee walk

lunch will be provided (BBQ hot dogs!)

water guns and water toys are allowed

change of clothes

sunscreen and hats

expect WET!! and FUN!!

Well....... it`s the time of year we say ``have a great summer!``

Circle of Friends will not be available for the afternoon

Due date for June calendars are May 25th, 2018

 

Please have everything in so we can best accommodate you and your family

 

As always, we look forward to having your child/children join us

 

 

3 Ingredient Cookies

 

(yummo!)

• 2 ripe bananas
• 1 cup oats
• 1/2 cup ch chips

 

1. mash the bananas with a fork
2. add oats
3. ch chips

-drop in rounded tablespoon size

-onto parchment paper or greased pan 

-bake at 375 for 10-12 min

 

Enjoy!

 

After making these cookies, some other choices were thought up to replace chocolate chips.....mini ch chips, add cinnamon, pecans, walnuts, coconut, raisins, craisins

I'm sure many more fun and yummy options
